Summary: This little cottage in Playa Grande is a diamond in the rough. The community is secure, with a gate and security guards at night. The roads are bumpy (but that is the norm in Costa Rica) and it feels like you're on the edge of a jungle, but the setting reminds you to get away from it all. The beach access is a 4-minute walk and is untainted because it's in a national park. The sunsets were remarkable. Overall it was just what we needed.
